It is for this reason that A Non-Governmental Organization, Myhelp -Yourhelp Foundation made a donation to Nectar Orphanage, on May Day at Lower ManyaKrobo in the Eastern Region.

MyHelp-YourHelp Foundation is a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) that seeks to attend to the plight of the needy and less privileged in society by transforming their lives in the socioeconomic circles through nurturing, education, training and development.

The Foundation has a growing membership of over 145 registered members, mostly working class individuals of diverse professions some of whom are medical doctors, nurses, banking officials, auditors, and lawyers among others.

Myhelp-Yourhelp Foundation is committed to providing basic necessities of life such as food, clothing and health care, assist in funding for education (both formal and informal), building up on acquired skills in preparedness for work placement and business set ups through seminar and workshop organizations and help with the identification of hidden talents and building up on the identified talents as well as resources in business startups as regards the technical knowhow and financing for the Less Privileged.

The present donation was its Fifth Project since it commencement in 2018.
Some of the items presented include: A 2000LT Polytank, 36KG Gas Cylinders, 35 Pieces of Shoes, Rolls of Tissue Papers, Hand Sanitizers, Veronica Buckets, Bags of Rice, Bottles of Water, Bags of Gari , Boxes of Tooth Paste & Brushes, Cash Donation among others.

The Foundation, also made up of Medical Professionals took the opportunity to educate and demonstrated to the children on how to live together whiles observing the Safety Protocols during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond thus, Washing of Hands , Social Distancing, Regular Use of Alcohol Based Sanitizers and Avoid Touching of Face, Eye , Nose and Mouth.

Speaking with Madam Fredericka Akuffo, the Mother Matron of the Orphanage, expressed gratitude to the Foundation for their Benevolence. She further added that the items received from the Foundation will go a long way to support the challenges facing the orphanage and most especially, help save these vulnerable children at the orphanage during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mr. Nicholas Cofie the Founder and President of Myhelp-Yourhelp Foundation said He was deeply touched by the plight of these vulnerable children at the orphanage at their first visit in January, 2020. Hence the decision to support the orphanage. He also appealed to Philanthropists to support the Vulnerable in the wake of this pandemic and was hopeful that out the Orphanage will emanate Future Leaders.

The staff and Matrons of the orphanage were acknowledged for their dedication and care for the children. “God will surely Bless and Reward your Hard work.” The president said.
