The late chief ruled for over 40 years and his absence has affected the development of the community. meanwhile, fear has gripped some residents of New Edubiase who have called for increased security presence as the demonstration is set to intensify from next week Wednesday.

The queenmother of the area, Nana Akua Twum II, has however called for calm, assuring people of the community that the kingmakers are in the process of choosing the right candidate to succeed the Nana Asiamah Guahyia II.
