New Juaben South is for the NPP - Okyere Baafi declares

Thousands of constituents turned up for the walk Thousands of constituents turned up for the walk

The Member of Parliament for the New Juabeng South Constituency, Michael Okyere Baafi, has declared that the constituency belongs to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and that will not change.

The constituency launched its campaign ahead of the 2024 elections at the Betom Methodist School Park. Thousands thronged the principal streets of Koforidua in a health walk which preceded the campaign launch.

The massive turnout, according to the Member of Parliament, is an indication of the people’s commitment towards delivering an overwhelming victory for both himself and the NPP’s Flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia on December 7.

“The people of New Juabeng South have always voted for the NPP since the start of the 4th republic in 1992, and 2024 will be even more massive for myself and the Flagbearer, Dr. Bawumia,” Baafi said.

The constituency launched its campaign for the 2024 elections at the Betom Methodist School Astro Turf. Speaking at the event, Michael Okyere Baafi stated that the government had done more than enough for the people of New Juabeng South to merit improved fortunes come December 7.

He referenced the Koforidua Regional Hospital, the Koforidua Stadium, town roads, astro turfs, and jobs as among the major projects enjoyed by the people of his constituency. He expressed confidence that the people will reciprocate the good works of the government by voting massively for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Michael Okyere Baafi in the general elections.

“This government has changed lives in this constituency. Today, Koforidua boasts of first-class roads everywhere, and the town has become a very important city which is often referenced. The government has transformed this town through Agenda 111, the Koforidua Regional Hospital, jobs, astro turfs, road networks, and many others, and the people will vote overwhelmingly for the NPP on December 7. New Juabeng South is for NPP and no one can change that,” he said.
