President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has appointed new board members for the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC), Graphic Communications Group Limited, New Times Corporation, and the Ghana News Agency.

The appointment comes after a consultation with the National Media Commission, a report by citinewsroom.com has said.

The appointment was made per Article 68 of the Constitution and section 2(1)(e) of the National Media Commission Act, 1993 (Act 449).

The new governing boards are expected to run the affairs and manage these state media.
