Mr Henry Osei affectionately called "SHOE", an aspiring candidate for Cape Coast South, on Friday 19th of July 2019, successfully filed and submitted his nominations forms to the NDC Cape Coast South Constituency party office.

He was accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Theresa Osei, and his campaign executives, members, and party faithfuls, led by the campaign chairman, Alhaji Ten Ten and others.

The nomination forms were received by the Constituency Executive, in the persons of the Chairman, Mr. Korankye-Taylor, the Vice-Chairman, Mr. George Borde- Koufie, the Secretary, Mr. George Justice Arthur and the Treasurer, Mr. Aggrey- Fynn.

Mr. Osei and his entourage paraded through the principal streets of Cape Coast, with a brass band and sounds system, thanking all his supporters and well-wishers, after the forms were received and the due processes gone through successfully.

He had interactions with the media and explained to them that, he's here to help the NDC party, and not only that but to empower the various party branches and wards.

He explained further that he is here for the grassroots members, as he has already started with half of the wards, giving them seed money to run their day-to-day activities. He pledged to continue supporting till all wards in Cape Coast South get their fair share of the seed money, for they are the foundation of the party, and their welfare is of great importance. He advocated that this is necessary because, without a good and proper foundation, a building with good building materials collapses easily.

He also promised to help the children and the youth in Cape Coast South when given the opportunity, and also to make Cape Coast South, an industrial and entrepreneurial centre for people to do businesses here for the benefits of its members and everyone at large.

He also advised the various camps not to insult one another, as this is an internal politics matter, and that whoever emerges as a winner is still NDC, and we are one family.
