Ninety-three personnel completes course at GIJ

Ninety-three personnel from various institutions and organisations in Accra, last Thursday graduated from the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ) after undertaking a month's course in Public Relations, Marketing and Advertisement.

The Director of GIJ, Mr David Newton congratulated the personnel and asked them to apply the knowledge and skills acquired to the benefit of their various outfits and the country as a whole.

He also advised them to continue learning and to solicit the assistance of the Institution to enhance their performance, especially information gathering and research work adding that they would be recognized as alumini of the GIJ.

The Course Prefect, Mr James K. Madakena, urged his colleagues to be good ambassadors of the GIJ, by putting into practice the experiences acquired during their short training to influence national policies.

Certificates were presented to the personnel by Mr Newton and the Head of academic affairs of GIJ, Mr. K.A. Batse.
