Nkoranza MP tours constituency

Dotobaa (B/A), Sept. 18, GNA- Mr Hayford Francis Amoako, Member of Parliament (MP) for Nkoranza has advised the people of Dotobaa in the constituency not to allow partisan politics to divide them, as that would affect the development of the community.

Mr Amoako gave the advice when he visited the community as part of his tour of the area to educate the people on government policies. The MP expressed concern about a protracted court dispute between a section of the youth and the community leaders.

"Unless you forge ahead in unity and share common ideas aimed at developing the community, there cannot be any proper development, as no government will invest resources at conflict areas," he said. Mr Amoako promised 40 bags of cement and four street bulbs from his share of the common fund to support on-going projects in the area.

The Assembly Member for the area, Mr Karim Wiafe, appealed to the MP to liase with the Nkoranza District Assembly to provide the community with a six-classroom block to solve the school's accommodation problem. He noted that two boreholes currently in use in the area could not cater for the population and called on the MP to assist in the provision of two more.
