The People’s National Convention (PNC) has said it is unfazed by efforts of its former presidential candidate Hassan Ayariga to lure its executives to join his intended political party.

Ayariga who lost his bid to lead the party for the second time is reportedly luring regional executives of the Nkrumahist party to cross carpet and join him in his new movement.

Some executives of the party have told Starr News that Mr Ayariga sent his men to their homes with cars and motorbikes in an attempt to convince them to resign from the PNC.

Speaking to Nii Arday Clegg on the Morning Starr Monday, general secretary of the PNC Atik Mohammed said Mr. Ayariga is wasting his time.

According to him, executives of the party have confidence in the newly elected national executives of the party.

"Hassan Ayariga's moves to lure some executives to join his new party will not succeed," he said.
