There were no casualties recorded in Monday night’s fire disaster, which hit a restaurant and an apartment located within the Tema Community Center, but police, say it has started investigations to find out the cause of the disaster, our Tema correspondent said.

She reported that three fire tenders were deployed on the night of the outbreak, but it took personnel of the Ghana National Fire Service up till Tuesday morning to bring the situation under control.
The Service with the help of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) has relocated those who lost properties, our correspondent said.
Officers of the Fire Service have promised to be done with investigations into the cause of the fire by close of day Tuesday.
