The Vice Chancellor of the Central University, Professor Bill Buenar Puplampu, has refuted public assertions that Central University charges outrageous fees.
According to him, the university charges reasonable and affordable fees to all well-meaning Ghanaians who prioritize education as second to none.
Speaking at the School's 16th congregation to usher the graduands into the job market, Professor Puplampu advised the over two thousand and sixty eight graduands, graduating with degrees and other certificates from all its faculties, to make their certificates a source of income for their lives.
Giving an annual report on the state and successes chalked by the University prior to his assumption into office early this year, he said, the school has done well by contributing some of its illustrious and hardworking faculty members towards the success of government.
The event held on Saturday, December 10 marks the first graduation ceremony of the school after it became a fully-fledged university.
On her part, the Guest Speaker who doubles as Managing Director for Ogilvy and Mother Ghana Limited, Akua Owusu-Nartey, urged the graduands to be bold and eschew anything that has tendencies of destroying their chances of succeeding in life.
