Accra, Feb. 6, GNA - The King Baudouin Foundation has opened nominations for the King Baudouin African Development Prize. The award seeks to reward individuals or organisations who are making outstanding contribution to development in Africa through initiatives that standout as the best practice in their field, improving the quality of life of the population they serve, and empowering local communities to take development into their own hands. This was contained in a statement issued in Accra on Monday by Mr Elvis Adanyina, Acting Director of the Information Services Department.
