The citizens of Enyan-Denkyira and Ekumfi Engo resident in Accra have met to discussed ways to speed u pthe development of hteir towns. At the meeting of the Enyan-Denkyira Kroye Kuo, the chairman ofhte association, Mr Alex Arthur, said the members are raising two million ceis to help rehabilitate streets in the town. He said the firs phase of the townAEs electrification projects comprising the erection of poles has been completed. Mr. Arthur said the association is helping house owners to wire their hous chairman of the Engo Youth Association, Mr. Kingsford Amoah, said the members are also raising one million cedis to help finance a day-care centre project estimated at 100 million cedis. The project is being undertaken with assistance from Planned Parenthood International, a non-governmental organsation. The vice-chairman, Mr Samuel Afedzi, said street drains are to be constructed inthe town to ensure a good drainage system.
