North Hills International School, situated at North Legon, Accra, has been approved to become a Cambridge International School and has, therefore, joined a global network of schools offering the prestigious and internationally sought for Cambridge education programmes.

It’s almost unheard of in Ghana for a school to be officially approved by Cambridge Assessment International Education to run the Cambridge curriculum just under a year of establishment—due to the high standard and facilities required before being accepted into the global network of esteemed schools.

But North Hills International School which was founded in September 2017 has already met the stringent Cambridge standard and the school has been approved to offer the best education possible to its pupils, guided and shaped by the Cambridge system.

When it comes to North Hills International, the education of a child is not just about enrolling the individual into any school, it’s about placing the child in a modern educational environment, surrounded by great teachers, facilities and classmates capable of preparing the child for the bigger world.

Alongside the Cambridge curriculum, the school also runs Ghana Education Service (GES) curriculum, which it acquired an official accreditation for just 5 months after its establishment.

The running of the two curricula by the school ensures that pupils are equipped with broad knowledge and skills to be able to fit and excel anywhere they may find themselves in the future.

It’s not just about the curricula, the school has highly trained tutors and expensive yet necessary educational facilities that you wouldn’t find all in one place at most schools in Ghana, even the highly rated ones.

North Hills International School has on campus guarded swimming pool with a professional swimming instructor, a basketball court, a lawn tennis court, a spacious library stocked with needed books, an up to the minute computer lab, a modern football pitch, and a fully equipped colourful playground for Pre-School.

The classrooms are not just conducive to teaching and learning; physical class sizes are super spacious, an administrative cap of a maximum of 12 students per class for the Pre-School and 15 students for the Primary and Junior High School has been instituted—to enable the teachers’ pay the much-needed attention to each student in a class.

North Hills International School is a total package—the learning environment is one of a kind, runs two curricula (the Cambridge system and GES), the tutors are highly qualified, and the available facilities are superb.

The school currently has the following; Pre-School Stage, Primary School and Junior High School–and the school has air-conditioned buses that pick and drop its pupils daily.
