Not Only The Living Are Suffering ....

?Dying Is Also Expensive - Mumuni

The Presidential running mate of the National Democratic Congress, Alhaji Mohammed Mumuni has stated that it is not only the cost of living that has increased under the NPP administration but also death cost has become unbearable.

Alhaji Mumuni made this statement when he addressed a mammoth rally organized by the Ablekuma Central constituency NDC in Accra to launch their 2004 election campaign. The former MP for Kumbungu who escaped death a couple of weeks ago said whiles the prices of coffin have increased to a wild percentage, the rate for grave space had become almost unaffordable.

These, he said are as a result of the inaccurate economic policies adopted by the Kufuor led NPP government. He reiterated that the ?killer? economic policies of the NPP has brought no positive change but hardship and suffering unto Ghanaians.

Alhaji Mumuni called on the electorate not to measure the NDC with the depth of regress the NPP has sunk the nation but by the high standards the NDC has achieved and use the December 7 as a momentous day to vote the NPP out for its failures. He charged supporters of the NDC to spark up their campaign and enter the markets, churches, social gatherings and house to spread the message of socialist democracy.
