Ghana is set to make history as it transitions from the Eighth to the Ninth Parliament on January 6, 2024, marking a significant milestone in the nation's democratic journey.

This transition is guided by Articles 112(4) and 113(1) of the 1992 Constitution, which mandate the Eighth Parliament's dissolution and the Ninth Parliament's inauguration on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.

Ahead of this historic event, GhanaWeb examines notable legislators from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) who will not be part of the Ninth Parliament.
