General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia popularly known as 'General Mosquito', has asked Ghanaians to be cautious especially during elections since the change after elections matters most.
Speaking to Ekourba Gyasi on Atinka AM Drive Thursday, the General Secretary of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, mentioned that Ghanaians voted based on the ‘juicy’ promises made by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) which they will have to live with it for the next four years.
According to him, the NDC will continue to look out for loopholes in the NPP administration and mount pressure on them to give Ghanaians what the promised them.
“Do you think a hungry person will choose foodstuffs over an already cooked food? No way!But what we forget is that if you open the content of the already cooked food and it is disgusting, you would be left with no other option than to enjoy it since that was what you chose” he added.
He mentioned that the NPP administration has resorted to lies after its inability to fulfill its outrageous promises.
Today marks the first anniversary of the December 7, 2016 elections, which handed the then ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) its heaviest defeat in the Fourth Republic.
It was also the day the Deputy General Secretary of the NDC, Koku Anyhidoho, introduced the famous “Comfortable lead” phrase.
