Nsawam-Accra branch number 2 of GPRTU settles dispute

Nsawam (E/R) July 4, GNA - The Nsawam-Accra branch number 2 of the Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU) has settle its dispute outside court.

Mr James Kwesi Cudjoe, the Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the Union, announced this at the swearing-in ceremony of the Nsawam-Accra branch number 4 of the Union, at Nsawam at the weekend. He expressed satisfaction that the dispute was resolved out of court and called on members of the branch to burry their differences and work hard to improve the GPRTU.

Mr Cudjoe appealed to members to pay their taxes promptly to enable the Union generate more funds for its development programme. He cautioned them against overloading, overspending and disregard for traffic rules and said offenders would not be spared.

Mr Joseph Kwas the branch number 4 chairman appealed to branches of GPRTU to organise training for members to update their knowledge on traffic regulations to help bring sanity on the roads.

He announced that the branch number 4 would established a social responsibility fund to promote education in the Nsawam area. The new Executives of the branch number 4 are Mr Joseph Kwao Chairman, Isaac Affum, Vice Chairman, Prince Atitso First Trustee, Richard Essah Second Trustee, and Oppong Agyemang as Secretary.
