I am highly honoured once again to say Ayekoo to all farmers in Nzema East and salute their hard work on the occasion of the 34th National Farmers' Day which is a day set aside to recognize our gallant farmers for the critical service they render towards national development.
I celebrate you for feeding the entire Municipality and beyond and contributing substantially to the socioeconomic development of our area.
I salute your sweat, dedication, toil, and perseverance in providing the food busket in our Municipality in spite of the various challenges you go through.
It is worth appreciating your positive response to NPP Government's Planting for Food and Jobs programme that has seen the glut of foodstuffs in every corner of our municipality and at a relatively lower prices.
I say Ayekoo.
We are blessed to have a listening NPP Government led by Nana Akufo Addo as our President and our Mother Hon Catherine Afeku as MP. The Municipality is boiling with projects such as Sea Defence Wall, DVLA office, Sports Complex, Axim-Nsein Town roads rehabilitation, Victoria Park upgrading, and on top of all Cabinet approval for the construction of Axim Landing beach/Mini Harbour, Gwira networks for communication among others.
Gwira roads have been captured in the 2019 budget, indeed the best is here!!!
I wish to salute you, our heroic Farmers once again as we celebrate you on Farmers Day. I wish to encourage you all to have faith in the NPP and remain focused and resolute in your chosen profession.
Ayekoo!!!
Signd!
Hon. Frank Okpenyen
