Odododiodio MP Nearly Disrupts Programme

A ceremony to launch a plastic waste collection point suffered a temporary disruption on Thursday when the MP for Odododiodo, Samuel Mankatta, verbally assaulted officials for failing to draw him into the occasion.

The MP accused the Asheidu Keteke sub-metropolitan assembly chairman, Samuel Tetteh of being behind the incident.

Speaking to Joy News, Mr. Mankatta expressed his indignation about various attempts by officials of the sub-metro to ignore him any time they are organizing functions in his constituency.

Explaining what might have informed the action of the sub-metropolitan assembly chairman, Mr. Mankatta attributed their actions to their political differences.

? Because they are NPP and I am NDC that is why they are treating me so, if this is the way they are going to go about it I am also going to organize my forces and anytime they organize something here I would disrupt It.,? he said

But the Asheidu Keteke sub-metro chairman, Samuel Tetteh denied the allegation.

He said the sub-metropolitan assembly did not organize any such function in the constituency as being alleged by the MP.

?We it is untrue invitations which are supposed to be sent were is sent, those from the sub metro are sent to the right persons and if you see the invitation that I have, it is from City Waste Management.? He said
