Renowned media personality, Gifty Anti, has shared her childbirth journey, from pregnancy to delivery, revealing significant challenges she encountered during her stay in the hospital.
According to her, during delivery, medical professionals determined that a natural birth was not feasible, prompting the need for a cesarean section.
Recalling the experience, Gifty Anti said she endured intense pain during the surgical procedure as her baby was delivered.
In an interview with Nana Yaa Brefo on Onua FM, as reported by GhanaWeb, Gifty recounted the difficulties she faced during labour at the hospital.
"The nine-month journey of pregnancy is indeed challenging. I underwent a cesarean section (CS) for delivery. The pain and anxiety surrounding the baby's health were overwhelming.
"I remember vividly, three days after delivery, when my child's eyes turned yellow, indicating jaundice. We had to place her under a special machine and shield her eyes, leading to many sleepless nights," she elaborated.
Gifty Anti is married to Nana Ansah Kwao IV, Chief of Akwamu Adumasa, and together they have a daughter.
