Oil Is Reason Why We Want Power By Any Means Possible

Akufo-Addo Reveals

Monitoring Desk Report

The flagbearer of Ghana’s largest opposition party, the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. William Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has revealed that the main reason why he wants to become President of Ghana is because of the country’s oil and gas discovery in commercial quantities.

It has never been in doubt that Nana Akufo-Addo, Jake Otanka Obetsebi-Lamptey, Ursula Owusu, and the NPP’s looting brigade want power not to develop the country, but to line their pockets with, and plunder the country’s oil resources: These intentions, the NPP flagbearer has opened up behind his inordinate desire for power.

Nana Akufo-Addo’s open statement that he wants to become President because of the oil resources, was made in Berlin, Germany, where he is currently, claiming to be on a campaign tour.
Speaking to a group of people who seemed to have no important things doing, and for that matter chose to waste their time listening to the “all die be die” crusader, Nana Addo told his audience that it is because of the oil resources that he and the NPP are red-eyed for political power.
According to him, the oil resources have made it more attractive to become President of Ghana, because, anybody who wins the 2012 election will have a lot more money in the “basket”.
“The stake for power in Ghana has been heightened by the discovery of oil in commercial quantities … because there will be more money in the basket” were the words of Nana Akufo-Addo.
When the NDC, CPP, and PNC are reaching out to the electorate and asking for the mandate to build a Better Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo has made it abundantly clear that the NPP wants power so it can be in control of oil resources of the country.
Per his statement, Akufo-Addo has betrayed the real intentions behind his inordinate desire to become President of Kwame Nkrumah’s Ghana.
Indeed, Akufo-Addo has exposed the real motive for his “all die be die” war cry.
The NPP leader has made it crystal clear that he has his eyes on the oil wealth and so is prepared to walk in blood to become President of Ghana.
Akufo-Addo’s “all die be die” war cry is to ginger innocent young men and women to die, so he and the likes of Ursula Owusu can lay hands on the oil wealth and live like Arabian Kings and queens.
Nana Akufo-Addo has made it abundantly clear that the NPP has continued to heighten tension in Ghana all because they are not in control of the West Africa country’s oil resources.
The NPP Chairman Mr. Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey continues to hatch evil plans to heighten tension in Ghana, thinking that he can confuse and hoodwink the electorate into voting for the NPP.
It is pretty obvious that Jake hatched the Amina fake mass rape cum robbery story, months ago, in order to heighten tension in Ghana.
In 2000, Jake succeeded in heightening tension in Ghana by littering the streets of Accra with dead bodies of women; horrendous sights which led to the defeat of the NDC.
As his stock in trade, Jake is hoping that he can continue to heighten tension in Ghana and once again confuse the electorate to vote for the NPP; but this time around there is no way Jake’s plan will work.
Unfortunately for Jake, GOD is on the side of President Atta Mills, and all the evil plans that are being hatched often backfire.
Even the doctors’ strike, which could have broken the back of the Atta Mills administration, did not work.
Indeed, now that Nana Akufo-Addo has made it public that the NPP is heightening tension in Ghana because it wants to be in control of the country’s oil wealth, there is no way well-meaning and rightful-thinking Ghanaians will ever allow him to become President of Kwame Nkrumah’s Ghana.
Come December 7th, 2012, it is very clear that the majority of Ghanaians will renew the mandate of President John Evans Atta Mills, for him to use the oil and gas resources to build more schools, hospitals, roads, storm drains; give more free uniforms and exercise books, and also give more pay to public sector workers via single spine, as he continues to build a Better Ghana.
