A fishing boat capsized near the Ada West District in the Greater Accra Region, resulting in the death of one person, according to the National Disaster Management Organization in the district.

According to a report by citinewsroom.com, the incident occurred on Wednesday, May 29, when the boat, carrying ten individuals, began leaking and subsequently sank.

The report said that initially, the four of the ten individuals on board, including two Ghanaians, were missing.

However, three individuals were later rescued.

Tragically, one person was found dead, and the remains has been deposited at the morgue.
