MP for Manso Adubia, Yaw Frimpong Addo MP for Manso Adubia, Yaw Frimpong Addo

The Member of Parliament for Manso Adubia, Hon. Yaw Frimpong Addo has slammed voters complaining that things are hard even after the New Patriotic Party (NPP) took over the administration of Ghana three months ago.

According to him, Ghanaians complaining that things are hard, are lazy or do not work, they will continue to suffer and bear the brunt of hardship if they fail to work. He was responding to comments by some callers on Rainbow Radio’s 87.5Fm’s morning show, Frontline hosted by Kwame Tutu.

The callers had said, Ghanaians are still undergoing economic hardship after the NPP- a party that promised Ghanaians ‘’Heaven on Earth,’’ have still not turned things around as promised.

But responding to the callers comments, he said: ‘’you will continue to suffer if you fail to work. If you don’t change your mind, you will continue to suffer. Go out and find something to do. There is a paradigm shift; we are working with your budget and you are on radio complaining that things are hard. If things are hard, then it comes from your budget. So he must change his mind and go out and search for a job. Maybe he was getting money free of charge and so he is currently suffering and so I will advise him to go out and search for a job.’’

The legislator added: the NPP will promote individual businesses in the informal and private sector. This will promote expansion and allow more people gain jobs.

He also asked Ghanaians to give government more time as they are committed in delivering their campaign promises the legislator, who doubles as the Chairman for the Government Assurance Committee in Parliament, indicated that, the Nana Addo led administration will ensure that, all his appointees deliver to make the manifesto promises fulfilled.

“The qualified, competent and apt ministers appointed by Nana Addo will deliver the best government ever. Ghanaians should exercise patience and allow the new administration deliver. We are only three months old as a government and so, we will admonish Ghanaians to be patient. We will deliver on every single promise. I am very confident that Nana Addo will deliver the best government ever,” he assured.
