Opoku-Agyemang advocates for peace during tour of Bawku

Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, the Vice Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has called on residents of Bawku to prioritize peace as a path toward sustainable development.

Her appeal was made during a visit to the palace of the Bawku Naaba on Friday, as part of her two-day campaign tour of the Upper East Region.

In her address, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang highlighted the significance of peaceful coexistence, stressing that community harmony is essential for fostering development in Bawku and surrounding areas.

“Let us make peace a priority,” she said, encouraging residents to work together for the growth and progress of the region.

David Adoliba, Secretary to the Bawku Naaba, expressed appreciation for Prof. Opoku-Agyemang’s peace message, commending the NDC Vice Presidential Candidate for her focus on unity.

He praised her dedication to promoting harmony in the region, noting that her message aligns with the values held by the Bawku Naaba and the community.
