Chief of Bontodiase in the Eastern Region, Nana Adarkwa Dwamena II, has declared his support for the NPP Parliamentary candidate for Ofuase Ayirebi Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, urging townfolk to vote massively for him come December 7.
According to Nana Dwamena II, the NPP’s parliamentary candidate remains the best candidate to bring development to the community.
He made the comments when the NPP’s candidate for Ofoase Ayirebi paid a courtesy call on him.
He said, “I’m always seeking development for my people and this township. As a result I have always prayed to God to bring someone who can help with the development of Bontodiase across my path.”
He urged townfolk to vote for Kojo Oppong Nkrumah on the basis of his (Kojo’s) genuine desire to bring development to the community.
“…Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has proved himself to be the person who wants to develop this town so I urge you to vote for him during the elections”, he said.
The aspiring legislator on his part commended the chiefs and people of Bontodiase for coming up with ways of tackling challenges facing the community even without government support.
He promised to do all he can to empower residents while thanking the community for its continued support of the opposition NPP throughout the years.
Lawyer and entrepreneur, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah is contesting the Ofoase Ayirebi seat on the ticket of the NPP. He’s being contested by the NDC’s Kenneth Budu and the CPP’s John Obiri Yeboah.
