Majority Leader and Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Hon. Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu has strongly debunked suggestions by a section of the public that his government is bent on introducing ‘alien’ practices into the Ghanaian society through the controversial Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE).

“I will resign from the government if those suggestions turn out to be true”, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) lawmaker for Suame spoke in an interview monitored by MyNewsGh.com Kumasi-based Nhyira FM.

According to the Member of Parliament (MP) for Suame Constituency in the Ashanti Region, the government has no intent to indoctrinate school children to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) values as being claimed by some Ghanaians.

“I’m Christian with Assembly of God and Cabinet has not approved any curriculum our children should be taught of such LGBT values”, Hon. Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu told host on Monday, 7th October, 2019.

His colleague (MP) for Adansi Asokwa, Kobina Tahir Hammond had earlier in an exclusive interview with MyNewsGh.com said the Parliament House would be set ablaze should the government force the controversial Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) into the school curriculum.

The former Deputy Minister of Energy believes the Minister of Education, Matthew Opoku Prempeh ‘NAPO’ is “too sane” to champion such a “useless and evil course” in this “godly country”.

“If it turns out that, my junior brother Napo is the one covertly pushing that agenda, I swear to personally deal with him drastically; I would not even have anything to do with him again, not to talk of calling him my brother ever again”, Mr Tahir fumed in an exclusive interview with MyNewsGh.com.

He said the Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon Rev. Aaron Mike Oquaye would burn down the Parliament House should the CSE be sent before him.

“When this CSE is brought to Parliament, the Majority Leader will run into the bush and die there, the Minority Leader will strip naked and run into the sea; all of us in the house are angry over this matter, so who will pass that law”, he noted.
