Oti Boateng SHS launches 25th Anniversary

The Oti Boateng Senior High School (OBOSS), has launched its Silver Jubilee celebration which is slated for the 20th of February next year in Koforidua.

The anniversary launch coincided with the planting of a tree, and the cutting of sod for the construction of a water closet for the boys dormitory.

Ms Amma Adu-Larbi, Headmistress of the School, said the celebration of the Silver Jubilee would provide an opportunity to showcase the achievements of the school.

She, therefore, urged all stakeholders to put in the required efforts and resources to ensure a successful celebration.

Mrs Asiedua Addo-Yobo, Chairperson of the Board of Directors, encouraged the Old Students Association of the school to foster closer collaboration with their Alma Mater to help its growth and development.

Baffour Nyantakyi Tutu Boateng, Krontihene of the New Juaben Traditional Area, praised the school for its educational successes which he said, had served as an inspiring example to many educators.

He said the school had been transforming lives through education, the creation of knowledge, and helping to put the knowledge acquired to work with excellence.
