Otumfuo Osei Tutu ll calls for Unity in Columbus Ohio.

The City of Columbus, Ohio was thrown into a state of jubilation and celebration by the well-wishers, family members amid dancing and drumming when the new chiefs and queenmothers of the Asante community were sworn the allegiance of oath to the Golden Stool via the Paramount Chief of Tepa Traditional Area (Tepamanhene), Nana Adusei Atwenewa Ampem I.

Speaking at a colorful ceremony held in Columbus Ohio during the inauguration
of the new chiefs and queen mothers, the Tepamanhene urged the members of Asanteman of Columbus, Ohio to forge ahead in forming united front and shun all your negative tendencies, since washing your dirty lines in public will rather destroy the association and always focus on the prosperity of the association.
The Tepamanhene tasked them not to allow individualism, indiscipline and discrimination to divide them.

"You must be circumspect in whatever you may do, whatever you may say in other to prevent any act of violence, be humble, be respectful, be hard working, be tolerant, map out a better stratagy to bring down the tension, the uneasiness, be focused, draw each other closer and strive hard to rebuild the peace and unity among all of you", the Tepamanhene advised.

Nana Adusei Atwenewa Ampem I tasked them to provide new form of leadership, be servant, implement feasible suggestions, accept constructive criticisms from the rank and file of the society and remain resolute in the challenges facing them.

The Paramount Chief of Tepa Traditional Area, who is special envoy of His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene, noted that "we are one people with common destiny, due to that it is necessary to live in unity with one another and nothing should be done tarnish the hard won reputation of Asanteman and Ghana in general"..


Nana Yaa Asantewaa, the Paramount Queen Mother of Ejisu Traditional Area in the Ashanti Region, Ghana implored them to be of good moral beacon of the association. "You must let the confidence and trust that have been imposed in you not to be in vain by working for your personal comfort and also make sure that, the members should benefit from the association resources." Nana Yaa Asantewaah noted.

Baffour (Dr.) Osei Hyiaman Brantuo VI, Otumfuo's Manwerehene urged them to use their leadership skills to advance to peace, social harmony and unity.
"Bury your differences and join hands to work assiduously towards unity and all stake holders to contribute a prudent approach and bring more knowledge men and women into the association " Otumfuo's Manwerehene added.
Nana Baffuor Hyiaman urged the leadership show commitment towards success the association and its your duty bound as a custodians of tradition and culture to preserve sanctity and lead a course against ill-information, back -biting, and pull-him-down attitude.

Oheneba Agyeman-Badu, Otumfuo's Atipinhene, said lack of unity and peace will drag the association bacwards and may not repent will before the eyes of the community. He appealed to the members to put Ghana first, Asanteman and the association and not focus on the struggle of power within the association.

Nana Antwi Boasiako expressed their profound gratitude to the chiefs and the members for their support, advice, prayers and confidence posed in them .

Nana Antwi Boasiako promised to make sure that , peace and unity will prevail in the association.
