Overlord of the Ashanti Kingdom, Otumfour Osei Tutu II has sent a word of notice to all sub-chiefs of the kingdom to keep their distance from the newly crowned Oheneyere of Daban, especially when it comes to issues of lands.

The Asantehene took the opportunity to remind sub-chiefs of the kingdom that the Asante Daban town belongs to a wife of the Asantehene.

This, he said, meant she had control over all lands in that area, and warned that sub-chiefs should stay away from the newly installed Oheneyere with regards to land issues.

Otumfour Osei Tutu II gave his blessings to Oheneyere Afua Amaado, before introducing her to the Asantehemaa, Nana Ama Konadu.

The crowning ceremony was graced by a host of dignitaries, including the Otumfuo Akyiamepanin Nana Nsebe, Daban Abusuapanin Kofie, Otumfuo Sumankwahene, Barfour Okotwasuo, Asantehemaa Bremponhene, Atimatimhene Nana Owusu and Asonomasohene Nana Poku among others, with the special guest of honour being Otumfuo Pampasobaapanin, Oheneni Nana Amponsah.
