1. AFRIYIE AKOTO - Minister of Agriculture

His tremendous achievements on the planting for food and jobs programme sets him apart from the others. Under his leadership at the Agric ministry, Ghana has enough food in our local market and for the first time in many years, the country export food like plantain, maize etc to our neighbouring countries, even in the midst of Army Worm, he fought it and made a great stride. Through his visionary leadership, he organizes focus group discussions with farmers from time to time to unearth their challenges. This has been the backbone to his success at the Ministry. We congratulate Dr. Akoto for this remarkable success and we hope for more in 2019.

This man has always been referred to as a workaholic. We believe as a group that the President only needed a person like him to oversee the hectic task of creating new regions. His style of Regional reorganization was perfect and out of that, we had a peaceful referendum and the creation of new regions. This enviable success can never be overlooked. We congratulate him on his leadership in the creation of the new regions.
