Outstanding business icons honored at 2017 Ghana Business Quality Awards

Ten outstanding business icons in Ghana were honored last Saturday, August 26 for their exceptional performance in their regions at the Ghana Business Quality Awards 2017.

This year’s awards night paid special honor to quality leadership and business icons representing the 10 regions that have met the standards of quality and are doing everything possible to improve the well-being of their people and the country as a whole.

Below are the awardees on the night

Dr.Sampson Effah Apraku - Brong Ahafo region

Dr. Francis Adam Asaana - Upper East Region

Prof. Edmund N. Delle - Upper West Region

Alhaji Yusif Ibrahim - Northern Region

Dr. Nii Kotei Dzani - Greater Accra

Mr. Eric Seddy Kutortse - Volta Region

Mr. Kwabena Adjei - Western Region

Dr. Kwabena Duffuor - Ashanti Region

Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom - Central Region

Nana Dr. Michael Agyekum-Addo - Eastern Region

The night also saw 15 quality registered businesses awarded for their inordinate demonstration of innovation and competitiveness.

Allied limited was named as the business quality Oil and Gas Company of the year, Holy Trinity Medical Centre also won the business quality leadership in health care, Regent University received the quality leadership in education award and the Graphic group of companies was also adjourned the print media house of the year.

The event was organized by the Entrepreneurs Foundation Ghana (EFG) under the auspices of the ministries of finance and business development in collaboration with the Ghana Standard Authority at the Banquet hall in Accra on Saturday, September 26.
