Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah, founder of the Glorious Word Miracle Church, has urged Ghanaians to be more positive when they see others progress and receive blessings.
During a sermon held at his church on May 14th, Reverend Owusu Bempah condemned the envious sentiment people get when they see others progress.
He referred to biblical scripture to drive his point home, highlighting the story of Ruth and Naomi as the foundation of his message.
Reverend Owusu Bempah, who accurately predicted the outcomes of last year's general elections, cautioned people from envious sentiments saying that the “curse of God will fall on haters”.
Staying on the same theme, he expressed confusion at the way Ghanaians have questioned the appointment of Ernest Owusu Bempah, the National Democratic Party (NDP) Director of Communications, as Communications Manager of the Ghana Gas Company.
“…why would anyone asked to know the rationale behind appointing Owusu Bempah to Ghana Gas?... Ghanaians must learn to be positive and be happy at the gains of their neighbors and not seek his downfall,” pondered the man of God.
Reverend Owusu Bempah's comments come in the wake of numerous ones from Ghanaians asking why President Nana Akufo Addo appointed Owusu Bempah to the Ghana Gas position.
Some Ghanaians have gone as far as to say that the only reason the appointment has occured is because of the relationship between Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah and the President.
One of these has been Mr. Kwesi Pratt, Managing Editor of the Insight Newspaper, who wondered what the criteria for appointment Owusu Bempah to Ghana gas.
