The interdiction of some 21 police officers for their alleged role in the killing of seven Zongo youth at Manso Nkwanta most probably were among headlined subjects featured in Saturday’s edition of Joy News’ analysis show; Newsfile.
Other topical issues including the payment of the initial percentage to Menzgold customers after ‘protracted’ disagreement over the percentage to be paid to them on their principals and the introduction of a roadmap to peace in Dagbon by the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II following tensions in the area over the years were also highlighted.
Spotlight was also put on matters surrounding the decision of GES to dismiss eleven of its staff for breaching the professional code of conduct of service. Nine were dismissed for sex-related misconduct, while three had their contracts terminated for stealing.
