PNC AND CPP TO RUN JOINT CAMPAIGNS IN ELECTIONS 2012
The People’s National Convention (PNC) and the Convention People’s Party (CPP) have decided to combine their efforts in the 2012 elections, in the Northern Region to get more representatives with the needs of the north at heart, to represent the region in parliament during the 2013 to 2016 term.
This will be the case, at the parliamentary level in the northern region whether the two parties attain their long term goal of merging into one party materializes or not.
ABDUL RAZAAK, Northern Regional Youth Organiser of the PNC revealed the strategy; which he said will give the people of the north the best representation ever in parliament. He was presenting the PNC’s solidarity message on Saturday, at the Tamale Sports Stadium, where the Northern Regional branch of the CPP held a regional delegates conference to elect officers to manage affairs of the region in the next four years.
