PPP is well prepared to secure win in the December Polls- Nduom

The Progressive Peoples’ Party (PPP) is prepared and will secure seats in the December general election, Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom, the founder and the presidential candidate of the party, has said.

He said his tour of the country had revealed that Ghanaians were craving for an alternative political party for a change and that the PPP was the only alternative option.

Dr. Nduom said this at a sod-cutting ceremony for the construction of a GH?100,000 community Centre for Bronyibima, a town in the Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abrem (KEEA) Municipality on Saturday.

The project is being funded by him, and is expected to be completed within four months.

Dr. Nduom said the Party would not wait for power before initiating projects but would continue with its assistance on humanitarian grounds.

He said Ghanaians had seen how serious the Party is through its numerous projects in many communities and appealed to the people to vote for the PPP, adding that the days Ghanaians were deceived by politicians were over.

Dr. Nduom said he was optimistic that the party would win the Walensi parliamentary bye-election and that the reception and response to the party was a pointer.

Among the projects in the Central Region initiated during DrNduom’s tenure as an MP are libraries at Abrem Agona, Elmina and Komenda, community centres at Berase and Eguafo; some of which had been completed while others are yet to be completed but have been abandoned.

He expressed regret that all these projects were left uncompleted because his successors felt they did not initiate them. He pledged that the party would complete all development projects which he initiated but had been abandoned.

Nana Brempong Abaka IV, chief of Bronyibima, expressed gratitude to Dr. Nduom whom he said had already assisted the town with street lights, market sheds and had started a drainage system to stem the perennial flood.**
