Asekye-Krukese (B/A), February 15, GNA - The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) of the Presbyterian Primary School in Asekye-Krukese near Nkoranza is constructing an office and a store with a library attached for the school to enhance teaching and learning.
The project estimated to cost about 25 million cedis is being financed through individual contributions of 20,000 cedis per parent and a special committee has been set up to manage the project. The headteacher, Mr Abraham Nimo, who conducted the Ghana News Agency round to inspect the project, expressed concern about how the school lacked such facilities, making it difficult to store school materials.
Mr Nimo expressed appreciation for the efforts of the parents and urged them to complete the project on time to promote the development of the school.
He urged the parents to monitor the movements of their wards when they closed from school and ensure that they revised their lessons at home.
Mr. Ankomah Nimo, Chairman of the School Management Committee (SMC) appealed to the Nkoranza district assembly to provide the community with two bundles of roofing sheets and 50 bags of cement to support them to complete the project early. 15 Feb. 04
