Panlogo-Logodam wins 'Most Outstanding Student Leader of the Decade'

Former President of Private Universities Students' Association of Ghana (PUSAG), Mr. Benjamin Panlogo-Logodam, have been adjudged as the 'Most Outstanding Student Leader of the Decade' at the National Students Awards- Ghana.

He beat competition from Sammy Binfoh, Andrews Kofi Gyan, Anthony Abotsi Afriyie, Bashiratu Kamel - Muslim and six other former student leaders across the country.

The award is aimed at recognising the contribution of students, individuals and corporate organizations to the development of education in Ghana.

Commenting on his award, Mr. Panlogo- Logodam expressed his appreciation to God, students and the public for voting for him.

He congratulated his competitors and urged students to strive for excellence.

Mr. Panlogo-Logodam, appealed to the newly sworn-in Chief Justice, Kwasi Anim- Yeboah to reform the country's legal education system.

According to him, this will help the country have more legal practitioners working to serve the interest of the citizenry.

He further urged the management of private universities to liaise with government to help absorb the First Cohorts Free Senior High School students.

Mr. Panlogo-Logodam explained that it would enable qualified students who may not gain admission into public institution to gain access to tertiary education, thereby reducing the burden on the government.
