Accra, June 16, GNA - Parliament on Wednesday adopted a report by the leadership, on a 25- member Special Committee on Constitutional Review. It was formed by the House to solicit views of members on the committee.
Mr Cletus Avoka, Majority Leader and member of the committee said the team would collect and collate the views of members in regard to relevant provisions of the Constitution which may require a review. The members include; Mr Edward K.D.Adjaho, First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Mr Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, Minority Leader, Mr Alfred Kwame Agbesi, Member of Parliament for Ashaiman, Mr Emmanuel Kwasi Bandua, Member for Biokoye, Mr Ebo Barton-Oduro, Member for Cape Coast, Alhaji Abubakar Sumani, Member for Tamale North and Mr Joseph Yieleh Chireh, Member for Wa West.
The rest are Mr Ambrose Dery, Member for Lawra Nandom, Professor Michael Oquaye, Member for Dome-Kwabenya, Papa Owusu Ankomah, Member for Secondi and Mr Joe Ghartey, Member for Esikadu/Ketan. The others are Mr William Ofori Boafo, Member for Akropong, Mr Kwame Osei Prempeh, Member for Nsuta-Kwamang Beposo, Ms Esther Obeng Dapaah, Member for Abirem, Hajia Halutie Rafatu Alhassan Dubie, Member for Sissala East, Ms Samia Yaba Christina Nkrumah, Member for Jomoro, Mr Haruna H. Bayirga, Member for Sissala West, Mr Joseph Osei-Owusu, Member for Bekwai, Mrs Irene Naa Torshie Addo, Member for Tema West, Mr Kwasi Ameyaw-Cheremeh, Member for Sunyani East, Mr Ahmed Ibrahim, Member for Tain, Alhaji Mohammed-Mubarak Muntanka, Member for Asawase and Mr Timothy Ataboadey Awontiirim, Member for Builsa North. 16 June 10
