Parliamentary Candidate Praises Ghanaweb

Fresh from his recent election victory as the Convention People's Party (CPP) Parliamentary Candidate for the newly created Nhyiaeso Constituency in Kumasi, Ashanti Region of Ghana, Kwame Appiah Boateng (popularly known among Ghanaian Communities around the World as " Kwame Mayor" has expressed his thanks to Ghana's most popular, well read, innovative and informative "Ghanaweb.com" for linking Ghanaians living abroad with the Information Age -Super Highway News in Ghana".

Appiah Boateng who was recently elected un-opposed on the ticket of the Convention People's Party (CPP) - the Political Party which led Ghana into independence and the first Party to rule Ghana, (the Land of Gold) which is richly blessed with abundant Hospitality, has also expressed his sincere thanks and gratitude to all Ghanaians at Home and Ghanaians living abroad.

The CPP Parliamentary candidate has embarked on a voluntary mission to attract investors who have the best interest of Ghana to invest in Ghana and in his Constituency.

" I don't have to wait to be elected to find ways and means of helping my Constituency" says the Parliamentary Candidate who is the first person to stage a claim to the newly created Nhyiaeso Constituency - according to the Daily Graphic report of May 6, 2004 (Page 12).

Boateng, who also is the first Ghanaian born to run for Mayor of Los Angeles has renewed his vow to use his connections in the United States of America to bring investments to his Constituency.

Touching on Ghana's Presidential race, Kwame Appiah said the Presidential Candidate of the Convention People's Party (CPP), Mr. George Opersika Agguddey has a Constitutional and Democratic Right to run for President and appealed to all Believers of Democracy to respect the basic rights of Mr. Agguddey.

" Mr. Agguddey was elected by the CPP to be the Party's Flagbearer. Believers of Democracy should respect his right to contest for the Presidency" said the CPP Nhyiaeso Parliamentary Candidate.

" Ghanaians should give CPP a chance", pleaded Kwame Appiah

" You have experimented with both the NDC and the NPP" - It's time for Ghanaians to put on their "King Solomon's Wisdom" and give CPP a chance to save Ghana" said the CPP Nhyiaeso Constituency Parliamentary Candidate.

" The CPP is "Ghana's Salvation Party" added Appiah Boateng.

Meanwhile, the Ghanaian born former Candidate for Mayor of Los Angeles - turned (Candidate for Member of Parliament -[MP]) in Ghana has appealed to believers of Democracy, Freedom, Liberty and Unity in the Ghanaian Communities around the World to provide him with the "Tools of Democracy" to run a victorious campaign at his Constituency.

Boateng who was quoted in the Daily Graphic issue of May 06, 2004 as saying that the political battle ahead of him is going to be a "David and Goliath affair", and that he is sure to become the Biblical "David", predicts victory in the December 2004 Parliamentary elections in Ghana and even a "Landslide Victory" [if] he can mobilize the necessary financial and technical support and also, if voters are properly educated to vote on issues instead of blindly voting on Party lines.
