Broadcast journalist, Paul Adom-Otchere has rubbished claims made by the Member of Parliament for Klottey-Korle constituency, Dr Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings that food meant for the vulnerable in societies are shared on a partisan basis.
The MP had earlier stated that “people are using partisanship to distribute food. This is a humanitarian crisis. People are literally being asked to show evidence of their party membership before they are given food,” adding that the action taken is unacceptable and very sad.
Her comments came after she fed over 500 head porters, popularly known as kakayei at Tema Station on Wednesday.
Reacting to this on Good Evening Ghana, Paul Adom-Otchere said the MP cannot make a dubious claim and think Ghanaians would fall prey to her lies.
According to him, Dr Zanetor cannot say that the food distribution was done in on partisan basis without having any proof to back her claim.
“You know very well Ms Rawlings because your sister is a lawyer…he who alleges must show proof. How can you, such an important member of parliament come and say that…we should believe you because you said it?” he slammed.
Paul Adom Otchere ‘warned’ the member of parliament for Klottey Korle constituency to not make such a baseless argument again.
