Pastor Kumuyi prophesies prosperity in 2015

Pastor William F. Kumuyi, the General Superintendent of Deeper Life Christian Ministry, has prophesied 2015 a year of financial breakthrough for many Christians around the world.

Addressing thousands of pastors and church leaders of the Deeper Life Bible Church at a night vigil to usher in the New Year in Lagos, Nigeria, the General Superintendent said “what we must do as Christians is to be patience and remain faithful in God.”

The 2015 International leadership strategy congress of the Church, ended last Sunday at the Deeper Life Conference Center in Lagos.

About 50,000 church pastors and leaders in Africa, and parts of the world attended the conference, which was under the theme: “Building for eternity.”

As the highest decision making body of the church, the participants were taken through topics that would enable them to step up evangelism, not only to win, but also to sustain souls in the Kingdom of God.

Pastor Kumuyi explained that God delighted in the prosperity of his children, but added that many Christians were poor because they were unfaithful to God and also compromised on their faith.

He explained that holiness and righteousness were the true hallmarks of Christians, adding that Christians who strictly adhered to the principles of the Bible would obtain earthly comforts and enjoy in the hereafter.

Pastor Kumuyi pointed out that without holiness, it would be impossible for Christians to acquire success and pleased God, and advised them against worldly amusements and pleasures.

The General Superintendent stressed the need for Christians to be steadfast in prayers, urging them to step up act of evangelism to help deliver people caged in sin and other spiritual bondage.
