Chief Executive Officer of Zylofon Media, Nana Appiah Mensah has said people criticizing his tweet about Ebony’s Death are doing that out of ignorance.
The Chief Executive Officer of Zylofon Media in a tweet expressing his condolences to Ebony said the artiste cried for a “bailout from him” and that there was the need for critical attention to be paid to Female artistes in Ghana.
His tweet sparked several debates and courted insults on social media because people thought the timing was wrong and the wording of the tweet was needless.
But in an interview on Zylofon FM to clarify his tweet, he indicated that his tweet was a call for affirmative action for women in the entertainment industry but his tweet was misconstrued and the response it received was ignorantly characterized by emotions rather than critical thinking.
He indicated that while he was in London, Ebony contacted him that she wanted to join the growing Zylofon Media brand so when he arrived in Ghana, he contacted her and reached an agreement with her.
He indicated that considering Ebony’s body language and tone, she was desperate to leave Ruff Town Records.
Nana Appiah Mensah indicated that he had intentions of signing Ebony this week and was willing to pay Ruff Town Records off in order to poach Ebony to Zylofon Media.
