A memorial service and state burial has been held for the former Speaker of Parliament Rt. Hon. Peter Ala Adjetey Parliament at the forecourt of Parliament House as part of final funeral rites for him.

The State Burial and Memorial service for the former Speaker of Parliament was followed by a burial service at a private cemetery in Accra. The well attended burial attracted politicians from different parts of the political divide as well as Government officials across the nation.
