Philanthropist gives 200 plastic chairs to police

Mr Anthony Kwame Saoud, Proprietor of Strong Plast Company Limited, producers of plastic chairs, has donated 200 plastic chairs valued at GH?4,000.00 to Ashanti Regional Police Command.

Mr Saoud, a Ghanaian born Lebanese explained that the exceptional peace in the country is a thriving ground for business growth and socio-economic development..

“The peace we are all enjoying now all is good for businesses to grow so Ghanaians should appreciate and thank God for the gift,” he added.

He commended the police for contributing immensely to the peaceful atmosphere, which allows people to go about normal life without fear.

Mr Saoud was full of praise for Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCOP) Nathan Kofi Boakye, the Regional Police Commander for his sterling qualities that has brought unprecedented transformation to the Command during his short term in office.

He said, the donation is to boost the morale of the personnel to keep working hard and called on other well-meaning Ghanaians not to hesitate to support the police.

Mr Saoud pledged his continuous support for the Command and appealed to them not to relent in their impressive service to win public trust.

DCOP Boakye thanked the benefactor for his contribution towards security work in the country as a whole.
