Prepare for Ken Agyapong’s funeral - NDC Communicator to family

The family of controversial lawmaker for Assin Central Constituency Kennedy Ayepong has been advised to start making preparations towards his funeral as he prepares to take his own life in view of the fact his wish may not be granted.

“Family members of Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyekum should prepare for his funeral for the wild allegations he made against the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Engineers and Planners Mr. Ibrahim Mahama, brother of former President John Mahama”, a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) communications team has advised.

The Assin Central Member of Parliament (MP) vowed to ensure Mr. Mahama is thrown into jail for alleged fraudulent deasl committed in time past.

“I will take poison and kill myself if Ibrahim Mahama is not jailed”, the maverick politician is quoted to have said.

The former President’s brother is currently under investigations of Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO) for evading Ghc 12.7 million taxes on importation of construction equipment into the country for his private business during the presidency of his brother, John Dramani Mahama.

Whilst investigations continue members of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) are pointing accusing fingers at government of witch-hunting the CEO of Engineers and Planners.

Asafo Agyei believes with proper investigations by EOCO, Mr. Ibrahim Mahama will be exonerated of all the allegations leveled against him.

On Abusua FM’s “Ghana Amanmuo” Evening political talk show hosted by Austin Woode, the NDC Communicator is optimistic that the businessman will be set free at end to shame his accusers especially those in NPP.

“Investigations have just begun so let us wait and see what will come out. I will buy a coffin for Kennedy to be buried in. Family members should get ready for his funeral” the NDC man told a colleague panelist on the show.

Mr. Opoku Mensah, the NPP communicator also expressed hope that government will be successful to retrieve the money for the state.
