Right Reverend Dr Yaw Frimpong-Manso, Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church, expressed worry about the decline of evangelism in the church. He said in addition members are idle, indiscipline, and ignorant showing disregard for the church's tenets. He added that infrastructure wise, little had been done for the Church.

Right Rev. Frimpong-Manso said it was important for Presbyterians to cherish selfless and dedicated service in the missionary work in order to transform society.

He advised Church members to shun activities and lifestyles that were not in conformity with the church's beliefs and practices. Rt. Rev Frimpong-Manso asked the church to help to promote education, employable training and health outreach programmes to enhance the physical well being of people.
