Accra, Aug. 11, GNA - President John Agyekum Kufuor together with President Joachim Chissano of Mozambique left Accra on Monday for Liberia.

Accompanying them was Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Minister for Foreign Affairs.

They are to witness the stepping down of President Charles Taylor of Liberia as part of efforts to end the conflict in that beleaguered country.

President Kufuor is expected to return home later on in the day.
