Accra, Oct. 30,GNA - President John Agyekum Kufour on Thursday evening returned to Accra after a day's trip to Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire, where he held consultations with President Laurent Gbagbo on the political situation in that country.
The discussions were believed to have centred on the implementation of the Accra and Macousi Accords, which sought to ensure peace following the political crisis in that country. At the Airport to meet the President were the Minister for Foreign Affairs Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the Inspector General of Police Nana Owusu Nsiah.
