TOKYO — Ghanaian President John Kufuor will visit Japan on Oct 20-24, during which he will meet with Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi, a Foreign Ministry spokesman said Friday.

The president, who will be accompanied by his wife Theresa, will also make a state call on Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko during his stay, Foreign Ministry Press Secretary Hatsuhisa Takashima said, adding that the emperor and empress will host a luncheon in honor of the president and his wife.
