The son of the first President of the Republic of Ghana, Dr Sekou Nkrumah has descended heavily against his former boss, the president of the Republic of Ghana, John Evans Atta-Mills, by stating categorically that President has proved himself to be a hypocrite.
According to Sekou, "President Mills talks against insults but at the same time he allows his appointees to insult their political opponents”. “More so the President is not honest. He was asked a simple question, 'Do you have cancer?', and the President did not answer.
Sekou stated categorically that President Mills was sick and according to him, everyone who is currently with President Mills knows he is sick.
“They should continue living in a fool"s paradise. All of us who campaigned with Mills in 2008 knew he was very sick but it was too late to change him. Now he has done one term, if he is not well he doesn’t need to continue,” Sekou retorted.
Dr Nkrumah made this known on Asempa FM on Tuesday this week.
His assertions were sharply rebutted by Kojo Twum Boafo, Executive Secretary of the Ghana Free Zones Board who called into the programme to say that Sekou was talking “rubbish” and was not mentally stable.
